About us

Building a Generation of Leaders

Re-Build Scholars is a Ugandan NGO empowering high-achieving, low-income youth — especially girls — through quality education, leadership development, and life skills.

The Problem We Address

Many girls in rural Uganda still face barriers to education due to poverty and cultural norms that favor boys’ schooling. In communities where families survive on less than a dollar a day, early marriage and household labor often replace classrooms. Re-Build Scholars exists to change that — creating equitable opportunities so every girl can learn, lead, and shape her own future.

Nearly one in three secondary-school-age girls in rural Uganda is out of school. Poverty, cultural norms, and gender inequality continue to limit access to quality education. Re-Build Scholars is tackling these challenges through programs that empower girls to learn, lead, and lift their communities out of poverty.
